I was amazed by the endless rock canvas. One can be walking through a countryside and happen upon a random rock with an exquisite random carving… or… is it?

So, these structure are dated back to 200 A.D. However, the stories the rocks tell are from a time not confirmed..



This is footage that I took in 2004, but have finally done something with it now. It was shot with a lo end ntsc mini-dv camera. I converted it to widescreen 720p. The wide angle “fishy” looking shots used a low end wide angle lenses that had a tendency to drop detail and vibrancy, hence the stark effect.
